A to-do list for ADHD that won't overwhelm you

To-Do Tracker · free · no signup

Short, visible, and forgiving

Standard to-do apps can be actively bad for ADHD: a giant scrolling list is overwhelming, everything looks equally urgent, and an ever-growing pile of undone tasks turns into a source of shame rather than help. What works better is the opposite — a very short view of what matters now, with the rest properly out of sight until it's relevant.

This tool is built that way: Today shows only the handful for right now, This Week and Someday hold everything else without staring at you. No enormous backlog in your face, no guilt for the tasks that aged out. Just try it — put two or three real things in Today, let the rest live in Someday, and work from a view that doesn't overwhelm.

Common questions

What kind of to-do list works for ADHD?
A short, visible one with the backlog hidden — seeing only 'today' avoids the overwhelm of a giant list, and out-of-sight parking for everything else stops it becoming a wall of guilt. Keep Today to a few items.
How do I stop my ADHD to-do list becoming overwhelming?
Separate 'now' from 'later' and only look at 'now'. This tool's Today / This Week / Someday split keeps the visible list tiny, which is the point — an overwhelming list gets abandoned.
