These terms are an agreement between you and Claudio Avallone (“we”, “us”), operator of The Artifacts Lab, for using The Artifacts Lab website and app (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
The Artifacts Lab provides tools for personal finance, fitness, meals, habits, goals, pregnancy planning and daily life. Many tools work without an account; an account lets you sync your data across devices and use paid features.
The tools give general information and estimates only. They are not financial, investment, tax, medical, nutritional, fitness or pregnancy advice, and they do not replace a qualified professional. Retirement projections are estimates based on assumptions and can differ significantly from real outcomes. Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise or diet programme, and always follow your healthcare provider’s advice during pregnancy. You use the tools’ results at your own risk.
Some features use artificial intelligence (Google’s Gemini API) to generate plans or read photos and documents. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies, omissions or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated output before relying on it. Don’t submit content you don’t have the right to share. Plan limits apply to AI usage.
You own the data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and transmit that content solely to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you share a result using “Share”, anyone with the link can view that snapshot.
If you join a household, its members can see what you choose to share with it. Content you add to a household, such as shopping-list items or tasks, stays with the household if you leave. Only add a person without an account to your household if you are allowed to do so on their behalf (for a child, as their parent or guardian).
The Service, including its software, design, text, logos and content, is owned by The Artifacts Lab and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal use in accordance with these terms.
Don’t misuse the Service: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people’s data, get around plan limits, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts, among other reasons, for:

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and may change, be interrupted, or have errors. We may add, change or remove features. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Keep your own copies of anything important.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. You remain solely responsible for decisions made based on information generated by the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms affects mandatory rights that you have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if you seriously breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.
We may update these terms. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and tell you about significant changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. Contact: support@theartifactslab.com.
