"Set up the nursery" tends to sit on pregnancy to-do lists as one line, which undersells it — it's actually a string of smaller decisions and jobs (clearing the space, deciding on furniture, working out an order that doesn't mean assembling a crib around a stack of unrelated boxes) that each want their own slot in the calendar, not a weekend crammed in at the last minute.
This roadmap doesn't tell you what to put in the room or which brand of anything to buy (that's not what it's for, and there's no shortage of sites that already do it). What it does is break "the nursery" into the actual sequence of tasks and give each one a sensible point in your timeline, so it gets done in stages rather than one exhausting push near the due date. Anything nursery-related that raises a safety question (a specific product, how something's installed) is worth checking against the manufacturer's own guidance rather than a general checklist. Just try it and see the nursery broken into a timeline you can actually work through.
