A high-protein grocery list, sorted in one go

Grocery Planner · free · no signup

Hit your protein at the shop, not at the last minute

Most protein goals are lost at the supermarket, not the dinner table — if the high-protein food isn't in the house, no amount of good intentions at 7pm will fix it. The fix is boring and effective: shop for the protein first, deliberately, so the week is stocked before willpower gets involved.

This builder turns your protein target into an actual grocery list — the right amounts of the right foods (meat, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, tofu) plus the supporting bits — so you're buying for the target, not guessing. Just try it, set your protein goal, and it'll build the basket. Hitting protein gets a lot easier when the fridge is already on your side.

Common questions

What should be on a high-protein grocery list?
The staples: eggs, dairy (Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese), chicken, fish, lean mince, plus plant options like legumes, tofu and tempeh. The builder works out the amounts from your protein target.
How much protein do I actually need?
Roughly 1.6-2.2g per kg of bodyweight if you're training, less otherwise — but a target you'll actually hit beats a perfect one you won't. Set yours and the list is built around it.
