Account & data
Delete your account
You can delete your The Artifacts Lab account and its data yourself, at any time, from the website or the Android app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
How to delete your account
- Sign in at theartifactslab.com or in the Android app.
- Open your Dashboard and scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Permanently delete my account.
You are signed out as soon as the deletion completes.
Can't sign in? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to regain access, then follow the steps above.
What is deleted
- Your login (email address and password) — the account itself.
- Everything saved to your account: data from every tool (expense, goal, habit, to-do, workout, meal, grocery, retirement and pregnancy tools), your Pulse, You and Path history, and your profile and preferences.
- Reminder (push notification) registrations for your devices, AI-feature usage counters, and product-usage events linked to your account.
- Early-access, roadmap-vote and feature-request entries made with your account's email address.
- If you're in a household: you leave it, everything you shared with it is deleted, and the invites you sent stop working. If you're its owner, the member who joined earliest becomes the owner; if you're its only member, the household is deleted. Household invites sent to your email address are deleted too.
- On the device you delete from, the local copy of your data stored in the browser or app.
What is kept
- Payment records. If you ever paid for a plan, the payment processor (Stripe) keeps its own transaction records as required by tax and accounting law. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it first.
- Data only on other devices. Tools save to the device first; a copy that exists only in another browser or phone stays there until you clear it (clear that site's data, or uninstall the app).
- Anonymous usage statistics that were never linked to your account.
- Household content you added, such as shopping-list items, tasks or people without an account, stays with that household for its remaining members, without your name.
- Backups. Deleted data may remain in encrypted database backups for a limited time until those backups expire.
